About the project
Together with its cooperation partner, HASPA Projektentwicklungs- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, property team AG is developing the sports medical competence center “Athleticum am Volkspark”, a trend-setting and so far unique health center in Germany.
The Athleticum is operated by three companies:
Ambulanzzentrum des UKE GmbH, Health Innovation Port Philips GmbH Market DACH and HSV Fußball AG. The aim of the partnership is to achieve a new and hitherto unique level in sports and exercise medical care and to establish the Athleticum am Volkspark as a leading center for sports and exercise with innovative health solutions.
The innovative concept is to be realized on an approximately 3,600 m² site in the direct vicinity of the Volkspark Stadium on part of the “Gelb” parking lot (access via Schnackenburgallee). The architect responsible for the project is Spine Architects, Hamburg. Construction work has already begun. The aim is to complete the generously planned building with around 5,200 m² GFA in the 3rd quarter of 2023.
