About the project
propertyteamAG is developing the new building for Hexagon Purus GmbH for its company headquarters in Kassel, an office, logistics and production property. As one of five subsidiaries of Hexagon Composites ASA, listed in Oslo, Norway, Hexagon Purus is engaged in the production of pressure vessels for hydrogen and natural gas applications in the field of e-mobility.
On a site area of around 38,800 m², the new headquarters is being built in the “Langes Feld” industrial park in Kassel with a light industrial hall of around 17,000 m² for production and logistics and around 6,000 m² for offices and social areas in KfW 55 EE standard and DGNB gold certification.
Hexagon Purus plans to take a leading role in the high-growth and sustainable segment of hydrogen technology. The growing order situation as well as the company’s strategic plans make it imperative to strengthen the Kassel site for the future with a new building. Hexagon Purus currently employs more than 300 people at its German headquarters in Otto-Hahn-Strasse in the Waldau industrial park in Kassel; the new site is also expected to create 150 new jobs.
Hexagon will lease the completed project from propertyteam AG on a long-term basis.
