the operator and tenant of athleticum is athleticum am volkspark gmbh, with shareholders ambulanzzentrum des uke gmbh, health innovation port philips gmbh for the dach market, and hsv fußball ag – strong partners who deliver top-class university medicine thanks to networked competencies and state-of-the-art medical and digital equipment.

the aim of this partnership is to reach a new and unprecedented level of care in sports and exercise medicine and to establish athleticum am volkspark as a leading centre for sports and exercise with innovative health solutions.

the innovative concept is being realised on a plot of roughly 3,600 m² in the immediate vicinity of the volksparkstadion football stadium. spine architects in hamburg is responsible for the timelessly elegant architecture.

the roof surfaces are subject to extensive roof greening and, in one area, are equipped with a spectacular outside running track as part of the therapeutic treatment options.

the plan is to complete the extraordinary building, with a gross floor area of approx. 5,200 m², in the fourth quarter of 2023 in accordance with the esg criteria.
